Serving is the final step in our discipleship model.
We believe that our words and actions express our faith in Christ to the world around us. Serving others and putting their needs ahead of our own and caring for vulnerable populations is one way we do that at CrossPoint. We currently partner with two global ministries: Buds of Christ in Tiruchengode, India and Reino de Los Niños in Ensenada, Mexico.

BUDS OF CHRIST
CrossPoint currently sponsors 20 children who have been impacted by HIV/AIDS through our partnership in the hope of sponsoring many more in the future.
Buds of Christ’s model is to support children in their home. This is a growing trend in orphan
care because of the added emotional and mental support provided by the family. In addition to the general services provided to all children served at Buds of Christ, sponsored children are provided with an added layer of support in the areas of health, education, advocacy, and leadership training. The commitment to each child means serving them until they reach the age 21 and are healthy, have completed their education, and are able to live an independent and productive life.

SUMMER CAMPS
CrossPoint sponsors the annual Summer Camps for Buds of Christ. The staff and children travel to a nearby location outside the city to enjoy the outdoors while participating in activities, classes, recreation and fellowship. There are at least two camps held each year: Buds ‘N Colors for the children up to age 12, and the Leadership Camp for pre-teens and teens.
CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS
CrossPoint sponsors the Buds of Christ's Christmas Program annually, which is put on entirely by the children. The program includes skits, storytelling, singing and dancing. Each child and their caregiver receive a special Christmas gift, and a delicious meal is shared by all in attendance.
NALAM CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
In 2015, Buds of Christ purchased a 5,000 sq. ft. piece of property with a vision of building a permanent Child Development Center. Every step of the way, God moved the plan forward, despite any challenges that arose. With His grace, the Center has been completed and was dedicated in August of 2020!! In gratitude for CrossPoint’s support, the main hall has officially been named “CrossPoint Training Hall”.

REINO DE LOS NIÑOS
The vision of Reino de los Niños is to surround children in the love and discipline of the Lord. Setting them up to become Christians who are responsible and mature, and who might be a light wherever they go.
CrossPoint currently partners with Reino to do specific project based support. This means that we partner with their team so that when a need
arises, that we can meet, we pray and work together to help bring that need to fruition.
SHOES
In September, 2020, CrossPoint was able to provide new shoes for the 36 orphans. It is our hope to make this an annual donation to the children. During the pandemic, we have not been able to visit the orphanage as in the past, so we are excited to continue supporting the children in this way.
